With cold weather occurring across Texas, the Fire Fighters Association provided shelter for their very own. Twelve Mission fire fighters and their families stayed at local hotels to remain safe and warm. With some fire fighters not having power or water, the need to provide shelter was priority. Keep anything that can burn at least three feet away from heaters. Have a three-foot “kid-free zone” around open fires and space heaters. Never use your oven to heat your home.
