About Us

Mission Fire Fighters Association Local 3609 was established July 18, 2004. We represent 92% of all career staff. Our main goal is to protect and serve our citizens.

We shall protect and advance the rights, wages, benefits, and working conditions of all members of the Local as well as ensure that the fire/rescue standards protect the interests of our members and the citizens and visitors of Mission. We are affiliates of the Texas State Association of Firefighters and the International Association of Firefighters who provide us with a voice at the State and National level.
