With 9 days left in the 86th Legislative session and 3 days left to get our bill out of calender's committee for a house vote. I am pleased to announce that our bill SB 2551 (workers comp) was out of calendars at midnight and will be heard on the house floor on Monday. We are expecting the bill will be heard late in the day. We are not anticipating any opposition, however there will be 2 amendments to the bill making the bill stronger. If approved in the House, the bill will head back to the senate for final passage as it is a Senate Bill with amendments. We are almost at the finish line, but we are left with some work to do.
