Mission City Council approve FIDO bags for fire fighters
The fetch foundation donated supplies for fire fighters with life saving equipment to administer medical attention to your family's pet at the point of rescue. In cases such as fire or automobile accidents etc. fire fighters need special tools on the fire trucks to save your pets. Pets are family too and now we are able to save the lives in an emergency. Mission Fire Fighters welcomed the Dallas Cowboys raffle ticket winners
Today, Members of the Mission Fire Fighters Association presented tickets to the Dallas Cowboys game that included 2 night hotel stay and a gas card to the winners of the raffle. The raffle took place at Brick Fire Pizza. Mission Fire Fighters participated in Oscar Longoria State Representative District 35 3rd Annual skeet shoot event this past weekend. We appreciate the commitment & support he provides to ensure first responders have the necessary tools and benefits to do our job. Rep. Did you know that the Mission Fire Fighters Association have a victims assistance program? Fire Fighters provide shelter to families who get displaced from their home. When times get tough and families have no where to go, we provide a service like no other. Last week, fire fighters encountered heavy flames coming from a home in the area of 2 mile line and Shary Rd.
